In our first ever completely live episode, Omar and myself debug a GitHub push error Omar was experiencing. It was a new error for both of us and took a bit to figure out. The error was:

error: RPC failed; HTTP 400 curl 22 The requested URL returned error: 400

The tl;dw (to-long;didn’t-watch) is the image was larger than the Git post buffer size. The fix was to compress the image, which is something we are doing for the Weekly Dev Chat website. Another fix is to increase the Git post buffer size.

This episode is a preview of a lighting talk I was giving later that day at the Edmonton .NET Users Group (EDMUG) about GitVersion. It’s a quick overview of GitVersion and how I use it in my projects.

I finally create the PR for Standard Ruby Linter Bug I’ve been working on the base several videos and months. I also fix the merge conflict noticed in the previous video.

I attempted to create a pull request (PR) for the Standard Ruby Linter bug I’ve fixed but ran into a merge conflict. Didn’t create the PR but did figure out the solution to the merge conflict that will be fixed in the next video.

Recently I created a CI build for the Introduction to ORM for DBAs presentation example code. One of the reasons I picked this code base was so I could try out Dependabot for the security alerts I’m getting.

The security alert is for the ASP.NET Core NuGet package. The same issue is listed multiple times because the code is duplicated several times for the various steps in the example.
